Having just returned from 5 days at the Atlanta Market and 2 days at the Dallas Market, I want to share with you the trends and highlights I experienced. Exhibitors spare no limits with fabulous displays to catch your attention. Some even offer great food and fun drinks to keep a weary buyer inspired!
Pantone Institute is the foremost expert in predicting the color of the year. For the first time, Pantone introduced two colors – Rose Quartz and Serenity.
These two colors embrace a warmer rose tone and a cooler blue tone – look for them in all finishes including glossy, matte and metallic. They are advertised as bringing calm and relaxation into our lives and who couldn’t benefit from that!
While their display was vibrant and stunning, I moved on to other areas that more suited my style and the atmosphere of ReStyled. There were three trends that stood out and caught my attention.
First – Garden Inspirations
For me, its never to early to think about Spring! Garden themes and products were a huge trend and we saw lots of items that can be used both inside and outside. As we become more aware of our surroundings, it only makes sense to expand our living environment to enjoy outdoor living areas and to bring the beauty of the outdoors inside our homes.
Second – Gifts for Your Home and To Give
There is always the art of gift giving that some people seem to just naturally possess. Me, I’m mostly at a loss for that super hostess gift, the most thoughtful birthday gift or just a special pick-me-up for a friend who needs a hug. There is also the art of a gift for yourself – something to remind ourselves how special we are, how special our homes are and those who live there with us. I think you will be delighted with these new lines soon to be at ReStyled
Tea Towels that made us smile and even laugh out loud
Braided Silk Ribbon Scarfs that are stylish and perfect for warmer weather
Tea Light Shades to dress your dinner table, fit on a mantle or in a bookcase
Third – Home Made/Made in America
Since we are always on the lookout for new and different items for the shop, this category especially caught my attention. All of these products have a story and I love the stories and will share them in more detail very soon.
The two products I want to tell you a little bit about now are:
